i was walking to central station after four hours in the darkroom at uni printing my stupid arsed photography assignment to see some guy in a shirt handing out religious flyers -- get this -- the shirt said 'JEWS FOR JESUS'.

correct me if i'm wrong, doesn't that just make them Christians?

anyway. so tonight is all about writing my article for july issue of the mag, on stands July 2 (but hopefully June 30 if we can manage - look, long bloody boring story), look for my name, folks!

and also stressing out over the 3000 word essay due for uni in 1 (one) week which i haven't even started researching (i've been too busy worrying about my photography assignment)... anyone got any ideas on how margarethe von trotta's film the german sisters relates to today's outlook on terrorism? no? how about you, in the back? no? you were just scratching your head?

i'm not going to pretend i haven't written that joke before...

in other news, i had to order neg scans for work, and the photo scan place rang back asking if i wanted in cmyk or rgb colour. fair enough - i was even going to write cmyk on the order letter - but i didn't because the negs are black and white. black and white! and he asked whether i wanted to have them scanned in cmyk or rgb colour! i don't get it. does anyone else? is there a reason? am i being completely stupid here? it wouldn't surprise me, to find that i'd ranted about something that i was completely wrong about...

*sniff* i feel so special, i got a present today from the lovely shelley, a little toy that is entertaining the whole office.

oh! one last thing. today i went down to get a milkshake, and the guy (not the freaky one) says 'guess who's over the road. i'll give you a clue: JERRY! JERRY! JERRY!' that's right folks, jerry springer that good thing was on his mobile phone across the road from my little downstairs cafe... aren't i cool? no? ahh, screw it.

those last five
