woo! go new financial year. i should get well over a grand back in tax return money, oh, that will be lovely. perhaps i will spend half and save half, or something like that. ooh. buy shares, invest. i want to buy shares that will skyrocket and then i won't have to work to make money and i can just work to have fun.

which i guess is what i aim to do anyway...

we FINALLY got the mags back (the second part of first saga was that the second step in the three-step-phase fucked up and lost us ANOTHER two days after the first step lost us two days so GRR!), my article is on page 43, i reread it and hate it now and some fucker changed my CORRECT use of '3Ds Max' (it is a computer program, short for 3D Studio Max) to '3D's Max' -- lord, if the proof changes something from right to wrong, then something's fucked up don't you think? Otherwise it looks good, no ugly ads (except *ahem* ok a few), not many editorial stuffups (except *ahem* ok a few)...

in other news, um, my internet wasn't working last night and as i'm bloody addicted i was quite upset... also i saw igby goes down yesterday, which i thoroughly enjoyed, and the only problem i had with it was that igby's real name was holden caulfield, it is that much a ripoff of catcher in the rye.

in concept i suppose. but i did, oh, i did like it.

also when looking through the new magazine we giggled at an ad for a film festival that said 'taking the black skivvy out of film festivals' (meaning taking out the posh artsy snob)... then looked around and saw that four out of nine people there were wearing black skivvies. we then muttered and turned back to our computers in shame.

those last five
