another day, another dollar.

my weekend: visit grandmother friday night, stay at original home. back to apartment saturday morning 10am for photography assignment number one. quick lunch at glebe with friends, then to grandparents (not the friday night one, the other side) for the afternoon. rush back to broadway to pick up a black skirt for that night buy it fifteen minutes before the shops close get ready, take a bus to kingsford in the rain, go to my friends sisters engagement party until the wee hours in the morning, play ping pong at four am, get home, crash, wake at 8am deadly tired, go to airport to see my grandmother off back to vietnam (the friday night grandma), rush home, have shower get changed, go to a friends welcome home party in chiswick, go back to friend whose sister was engaged for his lets eat leftovers party, home relatively early at 12.30am, sleep...

and the sleep debt accumulates 9am class on monday and some guys birthday on the roof. i dont see this ending.

its actually quite good when youre living in uni residences, you dont want to stay in your room. i mean, i have a tv and computer and stereo and phone now, which is good, but its much more interesting to check out whats going on on the roof that night, or knock on next door and say hello, or go shopping down the road at broadway. it does, however, mean that i dont get any sleep or anything, but you know me. hardly a change.

and now im back at work budgeting my personal finances and seeing whether or not its possible to get the internet at residence to feed my addiction (oh come on! im doing a subject called netcultures next semester ill need it! well thats my excuse)... at $13.20 a month it sounds reasonable but lets all factor in the car crash payments, the phone bill, and rent before we decide... arrgh!

its very very hot outside. im going home tonight despite the fact that theres a floor meeting on... yeah yeah yeah rules and shit, flush the toilet, put on deoderant. whatever. also have tix to thirteen (the movie) but NO. i have to go HOME. whatever.

and in the middle of all this kerfuffle, i think i still like jack. yes, yes, i know, theres absolutely no way it could ever ever happen. in the whole ive never been attracted to a female coming-out-to-the-world way. it saddens me.
