< you have to keep this multiple mindset about you | posted at 9:12 pm on August 20, 2003 > right... so the mags came back today.i find it amazing to believe that we're now working on october issue 59 and issue 50 seems like it was just yesterday. i remember breaking the '50' barrier - everything was new after that. and in two issues time we'll be onto issue 60. it boggles my fucking mind. i've never had a job more than nine months - that was my longest job previous to current (well, i am only 18 remember)... and now i've been at the magazine for 13 months if you count work experience, 10 months if you count paid work only, and 6 months if you count me being a full time employee (hierarchies, hierarchies...) and i feel like the old crew... oh it's just weird... to see each magazine come and go so quickly... an issue 'alive' for a month and then relegated to the demotion of the 'back issue'. no longer important. but you have to remember that august is on the stands, september is closed and on its way, and october will go to print in three weeks. you have to keep this multiple mindset about you. anyway. my crazy week is almost over. just one photography assignment away from concentrating on... the next photography assignment. i also have to decide whether or not i want to continue with my film and video drama subject. i really dislike it. i may drop. i'm in two minds. i hate being indecisive. those last five |
