i just got back from watching the play at STC, complimentary tix rock and that was one of the most moving pieces of theatre i've seen in a long time.

it's also plain old the piece of theatre i've seen in a long time, anyway. but i was definitely moved. don't tell anyone, but i cried. and i resolve to go to more theatre i know, i do this every time i go and see theatre but this time it's DIFFERENT!

besides the point. thanks to humanities non-teaching week tomorrow, i don't have to go to uni! technically. of course, i'll be in there printing my photos for my thursday class which is still on conveniently as it's a design faculty class and not a humanities class, but whatever. the concept of no class is still there. and the next week is vc which means i don't have to goddamn be there for any goddamn goddamn class. woohoo!

*sigh* next issue goes to print tenth of october. we get an extra week this time. we got a host for the awards (finally) but i don't think i can say who it is, but suffice to say we are ecstatic... now i just have to get me a date. or bring a friend, whatever.

moment of the day today was workmate looking at an attention: name on an invoice, saying 'who's jenny?' and me slowly replying... 'she's the managing director... i'm glad you appreciate the fact that she gives you a lift to work every morning.'

in a company of 8 full time employees, that gave us many laughs.
